The sardines look wonderful ,even if the bloke cooking them doesn't. I have been following your blog with immense jealousy.Buay and water problems aside, carry on enjoying yourselves. Best wishes to you both.

Try also "carapau". This is the local mackeral. The locals would not consider cooking if not supremely fresh. Arguably better than sardines.
