GIBRALTER, REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE
Jobs to be done in Gibralter included adjusting the balast of the boat with extra wine and beer. The teak deck needed recaulking in the heat and the bosun/first mate took that job on. As engineer I had to do the oil change and filter changes on the engine. In order to ensure cold beer for the rest of the passage the fridge needed regassing. Emptying the locker was the hardest part of this task.

You are about to cross the Atlantic Ocean and the woodwork is rotten - and there was me worrying
Never mind the woodworm, me and Tan want to know when the party is???
Oops er meant woodwork!
Congratulations on reaching Gib "safely". You have obviously taken to this lifestyle!
No doubt stocking up on the cheap gin/whisky - Panama next really cheap spot. Try the Spanish boxed wine from La Linea - good for storage if not the guts.
