Final Preparations
We are now on the run down to departure day, trying to tie up loose ends. If the weather improves, we hope to leave on the weekend of June 2nd en route for La Coruna in Northern Spain. This will probably take 4 or 5 days.
We have just had delivery of the charts for this trip and are beginning to realize that there is alot of ocean to cover!
We will try and update this site at internet cafes on our travels and will look forward to comments, as then we will know that people are logging on to us.

Wishing you well for your grand voyage.
I am quietly envious and in total awe about what you are both doing.
I am sure you will have an absolutely amazing time and I am sure it will strengthen your mutual bonds - even though it will surely test them in ways you have never experienced before.
We are all well though I would be happier if Local Authorities I work for paid their bills faster. 14 days should be the maximum wait and I shall be raising this landlubberian point with Birmingham today - I am training there for two days.
I had my 60th the other week (14 april) and had a fabulous gathering on the lawn and cooked some delicios food which was all eaten up. Got guests to bring something fizzy and got loads of champagne which was all polished off as well.
OK - must get ready for breakfast - am in a hotel called QUALITY HOTEL. Sounds very suspicious, doesn't it?
It is opposite an NHS HQ!
