STARGAZER

We bought Stargazer, a Westerly Oceanranger length 38ft, in Plymouth in 2004. Having cruised the West Country we sailed her to our home port of Milford Haven via Ireland in 2005. She has now been decomissioned and recomissioned as a Blue Water cruiser. We have rerigged her and added Hydrovane wind vane steering, water maker, SSB radio and DSC VHF radio, new life raft and dinghy, down wind Twistle rig, new sails, storm jib and trysail and electric windlass. We have added a gantry to support a new Raytheon radar, wind vane generator and 2 x50 Watt solar panels. Together with a towed generator and diesel generator we hope to be power independent. All this work was done by Windjammer Marine, Milford Marina. We plan to join the Blue Water Ralley for cruisers in 2007 for a circumnavigation.
